"I Praise You For Your Wounds" Tote Bag
Design Inspiration
Between 1670 and 1684 Josefa de Obidos depicted Christ as a sacrificial lamb who was bringing salvation to the world. Interestingly enough, Josefa was one of the few female artist active in Spain and Portugal. I sometimes wonder if her femininity could have helped her communicate a kind of care and comfort similar to the woman with the alabaster jar? Regardless, I think this image portrays the feeling I am trying to convey in "Praise The Son", and I hope it serves as a reminder, throughout your day, to praise The Son.
